Advanced Curve Warning System Project Continues This Week on Route 15 in Williamsport, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that an advanced curved warning system project continues this week on Route 15 at the spur in the City of Williamsport, Lycoming County.

The week of Tuesday, October 01, 2024, the contractor Kriger Construction, Inc., will continue placement of sequential light up chevrons along the Route15 southbound ramp to 180 eastbound in Williamsport. Motorists should expect single lane conditions where work is being performed. Work will be performed at night and early morning hours.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.

Kriger Construction, Inc., is the prime contractor for this $300,000 safety project of Route 15 southbound. Work on this project includes placement of sequential light up chevrons along the outside of the curve of 15 southbound ramp to 180 eastbound. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed within a week, weather permitting.
