district 3 county map PennDOT's Engineering District 3 is responsible for the state-maintained transportation network in this region. This includes 4,500 total road miles and 2,901 total bridges.

We also work with local governments, elected officials, stakeholders and the public on keeping people and goods moving safely and efficiently in this region.

Route 199 Reconstruction Project Continues in Sayre and Athens, Bradford County

The week of Monday, July 1, 2024, contractor, Kriger Construction, continues work in the northbound lane on Main Street (Route 199) between Spruce Street and Cooper Street. Work includes new pavement, drainage improvements, utility relocations, sidewalk and curb improvements, ADA curb ramp installations, traffic signal upgrades, driveway adjustments, signing and pavement markings and other miscellaneous construction.
