Pipe Replacement Project Planned Next Week on Green Creek Road in Orange Township, Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Green Creek Road (Route 4020), will be closed daily next week in Orange Township, Columbia County for a pipe replacement project.​

Beginning Tuesday, October 8, 2024, through Thursday, October 10, 2024, Green Creek Road will be closed between Charmund Road (Route 4031) and Bowmans Mill Road (Route 4037), while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces a deteriorating pipe.

A detour using Charmund Road, Route 487, and Rohrsburg Road (Route 4041) will be in place, while work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours.

School buses and emergency vehicles will be permitted through the work zone prior to the project starting.
