6/11/2024 Update: Route 87 is open in Lycoming County.​​

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 87 is closed in both directions between Route 864 and Route 2030 (Reeder Road) in Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, due to a downed tree into utilities.​

A detour using Route 864, Heilman Road, Reeder Road, and Tallman Hollow Road is in place.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the area.
