Bridge Scour Mitigation Preservation
Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties
Project Overview
The scope of work for this project consists of repairing scour damage to the stream, banks, and substructure as well as other minor structure preservation work.
Scour countermeasures will be installed at all locations to help prevent future scour problems and extend the life of the structures. Locations are as follows:
- Route 2047 in Washington County, West Bethlehem Township
- Route 2021 in Fayette County, North Union Township
- Route 2017 in Westmoreland County, Unity Township
Structures will remain open to traffic during construction with short-term flagging/single lane closures possible.
