The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing motorists that all lanes have reopened in the project portions of Interstate 70 (I-70) near Amaranth, Fulton County, to the Bedford County line.
All lanes are open on eastbound and westbound I-70 until construction resumes in the spring of 2025.
The work is part of the 25-mile, $30.9 million I-70 pavement preservation project, which includes the rehabilitation of eight bridge-structures, and the replacement of a box culvert in Fulton County. New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co., Inc., of New Enterprise, is the contractor. The anticipated completion date for the overall project is August 2027.
