Interstate 70 Crystal Springs Rest Area Closure Begins June 4 in Fulton County

06/03/2024

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will close the Interstate 70 eastbound rest area in Crystal Springs beginning at 8:00 AM, Tuesday, June 4, in Brush Creek Township, Fulton County.

Contractor New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. Inc., of New Enterprise, will prepare the exit ramp to accommodate trucks reentering the interstate into the current work zone. The multi-phased improvements project happening in that area makes it necessary to make these changes to the ramp.

The welcome center is expected to re-open by 2:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024
