Route 829 (Trough Creek Valley Pike) near Mill Creek, Huntingdon County, Restricted to Single Lane Beginning May 31

​The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing motorists that Route 829 (Trough Creek Valley Pike) near Mill Creek, Huntingdon County, will be restricted to a single lane beginning Friday, May 31, until further notice.​

Traffic on Route 829 (Trough Creek Valley Pike) will be restricted to a single land and controlled by temporary signals while work to repair an unstable slope is completed. There is no timetable for repairs.

Motorists should expect short-term delays of approximately five (5) minutes or less through the length of the lane restriction on Route 829 located just south of the Juniata River Bridge in Union Township.

 PennDOT is currently working to notify the local school districts and their transportation companies, as well as borough and township officials of the traffic restrictions.
