Lane restrictions on SB I-83 on Wednesday, NB I-83 on Thursday
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the 19th Street bridge spanning Interstate 83 in the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, will be inspected tomorrow, Wednesday, November 13, and Thursday, November 14. There will be lane closures on I-83 for this work.
Weather permitting, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 13, there will be alternating right and left lane closures on southbound I-83 at the bridge.
From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday, November 14, there will be alternating right and left lane closures on northbound I-83 at the bridge.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
