Westbound Route 30 expected to open by 6:00 AM, Monday, Nov. 11
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a project to repair a sinkhole on westbound Route 30 just east of Route 74 (Carlisle Avenue) in York County is on track to be completed and the road open to traffic by 6:00 AM tomorrow, Monday, November 11.
Westbound Route 30 was closed Friday night at Kenneth Road so the sinkhole could be repaired. The contractor expects to finish up tonight and open the road by 6:00 AM Monday.
A press release will be issued when the road reopens.
New lines will be painted on the roadway tomorrow after road surface dries and temperatures rise. Motorists should be alert and watch for slow-moving construction vehicles.
