Concrete Patching Completed, All Lanes Open on NB I-81 Just North of George N. Wade Memorial Bridge in Dauphin County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that concrete patching has been completed on northbound Interstate 81 just north of the George N. Wade Memorial Bridge in Dauphin County. 

Traffic restrictions in place since last night (Friday, October 25) for this work have been lifted. All lanes of northbound I-81 are open.

This work is part of a nearly 20-mile concrete repair project on Interstate 81 in Franklin and Dauphin counties, and on Interstate 83 in York County.

JD Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA, is the contractor on this $2,776,703 project. All work is expected to be completed by September 12, 2025.
