Traffic restrictions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday, Nov. 1
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge inspection is scheduled for next week on the Route 23 (East Walnut Street) Bridge over the Conestoga River between Lancaster City in Lancaster County and Manheim Township in Lancaster County.
Weather permitting, there will be daytime lane restrictions on the Route 23 (East Walnut Street) bridge from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday, November 1.
Traffic will be restricted in one direction at a time. Work will begin in the eastbound direction, (Lancaster Township to East Lampeter Township) and then move to the westbound (East Lampeter Township to Lancaster Township) direction. The right lane will be closed in each direction during this inspection.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
