I-81 bridges over Manada Gap Road and Shells Church Road, and Fire House Road bridge over I-81 to be inspected
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that three bridges are scheduled to be inspected next week along Interstate 81 in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County.
Weather permitting, the I-81 bridge spanning Manada Gap Road will be inspected from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday, September 9. There will be lane restrictions with flagging on Manada Gap Road between Windy Lane and Dry Run Road during work hours.
The I-81 bridge spanning Shells Church Road is scheduled to be inspected from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 10. There will be lane restrictions with flagging on Shells Church Road between Spring Road and Station Road during work hours.
The Fire House Road bridge spanning I-81 will be inspected from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, and Thursday, September 12. There will be alternating left and right lane closure on northbound I-81 on Wednesday, and on southbound I-81 on Thursday.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
