Inspection This Week of Exit 3 Ramp Bridge Over Route 581 in Hampden Township, Cumberland County

​Lane restrictions will be in place on Route 581

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today there will be lane restrictions this week on Route 581 at Exit 3 (Route 11) in Hampden Township, Cumberland County, so the ramp bridge from eastbound Route 581 to southbound Route 11 (Carlisle Pike) can be inspected. 

Weather permitting, alternating left and right lane restrictions will be in place in both directions of Route 581 between mile 2.5 and mile 2.6 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 26, and Thursday, June 27.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations and drive with caution through the work zone.
