Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge replacement project is scheduled to begin next week on Century Farms Road (Route 2050) in York County. The bridge spans the North Branch Muddy Creek between Trinity Road and Fulton School Road in Chanceford Township.
Weather permitting, the bridge will be closed Monday, June 17. A detour will be in place using Laurel Road (Route 2075), Main Street (Route 2054), Red Lion Avenue (Route 2079), Felton Road (Route 2079), Route 24 (Winterstown Road) and Church Road (Route 2052).
This project consists of a structure replacement, minor roadway reconstruction, guiderail upgrades and drainage improvements.
CriLon Corp. of Sommerset, PA is the contractor on this $1,285,495 project. Work is expected to be completed by October 10, 2024
