Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge replacement project is scheduled to begin on Bridge Street (Route 2025) in Christiana Borough, Lancaster County. The structure spans Williams Run just north of Germantown Avenue (Route 372).
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, April 1. The bridge will be closed. A detour will be in place using Germantown Avenue and Water Street.
This project consists of a bridge replacement, ADA curb ramps, new curb and sidewalk, paving approaches, and sewer line relocation
Work on this bridge is expected to be completed by December 20, 2024.
Lobar Site Development Corporation of Dillsburg, PA is the contractor on this $2,137,898 project.
