Lane Restrictions Tomorrow on Route 30 (Wrights Ferry) Bridge Between Lancaster and York Counties

01/17/2024

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today there will be lane restrictions tomorrow on Route 30 at the median barrier project on the Route 30 (Wrights Ferry) Bridge connecting Lancaster and York counties. The bridge spans the Susquehanna River between Hellam Township in York County and Columbia Borough in Lancaster County. The restrictions will be in place so the contractor can paint lines on the bridge.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM tomorrow, Thursday, January 18. The left lane of Route 30 will be closed in both directions on the bridge.

This project includes improvements to the median barrier and other construction activities.

JD Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA is the prime contractor on this $5,247,787 project. Work is expected to be completed by November 2024.
