Bridge spanning Chiques Creek just north of Route 23 (Marietta Avenue) was replaced
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Kinderhook Road (Route 4003) bridge spanning Chiques Creek about a half mile north of Route 23 (Marietta Avenue) in W. Hempfield and Rapho townships, Lancaster County, is open to traffic.
The bridge was closed in April for replacement. A detour in place during the closure is lifted.
Susquehanna Valley Construction Corporation of New Cumberland, PA, is the contractor on this $3,181,665 project.
