Bridge Inspection Scheduled Monday on I-76 West in Upper Merion Township

King of Prussia PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge inspection is scheduled on westbound Interstate 76 in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The inspection is part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
