King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair is scheduled next week on several state highways in Bucks and Delaware counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, July 29, through Wednesday, August 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Steinsburg Road/Cassel Road will be closed weekdays between Spinnerstown Road and Allentown Road in Milford Township, Bucks County. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Spinnerstown Road, Route 663 (John Fries Highway), and Allentown Road.
- Monday, July 29, through Friday, August 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Beaver Valley Road will be closed between U.S. 202 (Wilmington West Chester Pike) and Beaver Dam Road/Beaver Valley Road in Concord and Chadds Ford townships, Delaware County. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Beaver Dam Road, Brandywine Creek Road, Smithbridge Road, and U.S. 202 (Wilmington West Chester Pike).
- Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Glen Mills Road/Westown Road will be closed between Cheyney Road and Dilworthtown Road in Thornbury Township, Delaware County. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Cheyney Road, Creek Road, and Dilworthtown Road.
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
