King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on Route 238 (Spring Mill Road) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, July 8, through Friday, February 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a closure is schedule on Route 238 (Spring Mill Road) between Wrenfield Way and Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Old Gulph Road, Matsonford Road, and Route 23 (Front Street/Crawford Avenue/Conshohocken State Road).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
