King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge deck repair continues on the bridge carrying Strickersville Road over Big Elk Creek in Elk and Franklin townships, Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Built in 1938, the Strickersville bridge over Big Elk Creek carries approximately 725 vehicles, daily.
