Dunmore, PA – There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound to perform bridge inspections. Work will take place as follows between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Wednesday: July 17 – between Exit 185 (Biden Expressway) and Exit 188 (Dunmore/Throop)
- Thursday: July 18 – between Exit 219 (Gibson) and Exit 223 (New Milford/Lakeside)
Motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route to avoid traffic delays. Work is weather-dependent.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
