Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing overnight single-lane restrictions on Interstate 70 in Fallowfield Township, Washington County, scheduled to begin Sunday evening, November 10.
Restrictions will be eastbound and westbound between Exit 32B (To Route 917, Bentleyville/Ginger Hill) and Exit 35 (Route 481, Monongahela/Centerville), 7:00 PM-6:00 AM daily, and are anticipated until the morning of Friday, December 20.
All work depends on weather and operations and may extend an additional two weeks, through Monday morning, January 6. There will be no restrictions on Friday nights, December 27 and January 3, nor Saturday nights, December 28 and January 4.
Crews from AWK Consulting Engineers will drill geotechnical test borings for the roadway and retaining wall components of the I-70 Belle Vernon Bridge to Bentleyville project, which is currently in design.
