Route 30 Lincoln Highway Surface Improvements Begin Wednesday in Westmoreland County

​Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that weekday, overnight only, single-lane restrictions on two sections of Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) are scheduled in Westmoreland County.

From Wednesday, July 15 to mid-late August:

  • Begin: Teddy Drive/Route 3020 (Barnes Lake Road) in North Huntington Township.
  • End:     West Penn Drive/Possum Hollow Road in Hempfield Township. 

From Wednesday, July 24 to mid-late November:

  • Begin:  Route 1073 (Sheraton Drive)/Old U.S. Highway 30 in Hempfield Township.
  • End:     Village Drive/Marguerite Road in Unity Township. 

Tresco Paving Corporation will be conducting joint repair, milling, leveling, wearing, and painting at part of an $8.5M infrastructure surface improvement project on state roads throughout Westmoreland County.

All work depends on weather and operations. Timelines are subject to change.

Exercise caution while approaching the work zone. Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
