Route 1010 Georgetown Road Slide Repair Begins Monday in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 1010 (Georgetown Road) is scheduled to close Monday, June 3, 6:30 AM, between Route 19 (Washington Road) and Route 1011 (Mayview Road) in Cecil Township, Washington County.

The emergency closure is anticipated through late August/early September depending on weather and operations. Crews from A. Folino Construction will be conducting slide repair work – a $1.5M infrastructure investment – which includes excavation, drilling, dowel placement, restoration, guiderail, and pavement markings.

A 4.7 mile posted detour will be in place using:

  • Route 19 (Washington Road).
  • Route 3006 (Boyce Road).
  • Route 1011 (Mayview Road).
