Route 3043 Majorsville Road Slide Repair Begins Tuesday in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 3043 (Majorsville Road) is scheduled to close Tuesday, May 28, 6:00 AM, between Lower Enlow Road and Four Seasons Road in West Finley Township, Washington County.

The emergency closure is anticipated through mid-late July depending on weather and operations. Crews from Plum Contracting will be conducting slide repair work – an estimated $1.26 million infrastructure investment.

A 14.9 mile posted detour will be in place using:

  • WV County Route 15 (Calis Majorsville Road).
  • WV County Route 26 (Number 2 Ridge Road).
  • WV County Route 56 (Dallas Pike).
  • Route 3019 (Beham Ridge Road).
  • Route 3037 (Finley Road).
