District 12 Roads Closed Due to Flooding and Downed Tree – 3:30 PM UPDATE

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following roadways are closed at this time due to flooding:

Greene County

  • Route 18 between Grinnage Run Road and Hoges Run Road in Center Township. 
  • Route 21 between Wheeling Creek Road and Aleppo Road in Richhill Township. 
  • Route 1017 (Willis Road/Kovalcheck Road/Crucible Road) between Reynolds Road in Jefferson Township and Valley View Road in Cumberland Township. 
  • Route 2018 (Kirby Garards Fort Road/Kirby Road) between Foley Road and Route 2003/2018 in Whiteley Township. 
  • Route 3009 (Toms Run Road) between Hoy Hill Road and Tustin Run Road in Gilmore Township. 
  • Route 3009 (Toms Run Road) between Jones Road and Hargus Creek Road in Jackson Township. 
  • Route 3010 (Deep Valley Road/Main Street) between Pigeon Run Road and Windy Gap Road in Springhill Township. 
  • Route 3013 (Oak Forest Road/Chestnut Street) between Stewart Run Road and Woods Road in Center Township. 

Washington County

  • Route 519 between Pike Street in Houston Borough and Hornhead Street in Mount Pleasant Township.
  • ​Route 980 between Route 50 (Millers Run Road) and Coleman Road in Cecil Township. 
  • Route 1010 (Georgetown Road) between Spring Avenue in Cecil Township and Rock Run Road in Peters Township. 
  • Route 2019 (Almond Road) between Route 917 (Main Street) and Chestnut Street. 
  • Route 2020 (Ten Mile Road) between Hufford Run Road in Amwell Township and Little Creek Road in West Bethlehem Township.

 Westmoreland County

  • Route 381 between Club Stable Road and Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Ligonier Township. 
  • Route 1011 (Midget Camp Road) between Girl Scout Camp Road and Tantlinger Hollow Road in Fairfield Township. 
  • Route 2045 (Two Mile Run Road) between Slater Road and Route 711 in Ligonier Township. 

Due to downed tree in wires:

  • ​Route 2043 (Linn Run Road/Darlington Rector Road) between Linn Run Park Road in Cook Township and Sunningwell Drive in Ligonier Township. 

Motorists should never drive through flooded roadways, as it takes just two feet of fast-moving water to float a car.
