Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's (PennDOT's) Engineering District 12, along with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites the community to participate in an open-house format public meeting to review and comment on the proposed Interstate 70 Bentleyville to Belle Vernon Bridge Project. Representatives from PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and take comments regarding the project.

This project which is nearing final design, considers mainline improvements including widening and minor realignment of Interstate 70, reconstruction/reconfiguration of the Lover Interchange (Exit 36), and improvements to acceleration and deceleration lanes at the Speers Interchange (Exit 39) and Charleroi/Allenport Interchange (Exit 40).
The public will learn about the preliminary design process, review project information, and provide feedback on roadway improvements and concerns, including the proposed Lover Interchange (Exit 36) reconfiguration, and sensitive environmental features in the project area.
The in-person public meeting location complies with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and is accessible to individuals who have disabilities. The project documents will be made available in alternative languages or formats if requested.
