Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is reminding the public of a job fair on Wednesday, October 9 to learn about available maintenance positions the department offers for the winter maintenance program in Allegheny County.
The event will be held at PA CareerLink Pittsburgh - Monroeville Office located at 300 Penn Center Boulevard (Building 3), Suite 800, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9.
Available positions in Allegheny County include:
- Seasonal (Temp-to-Permanent) Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Operators
- Full-time permanent Diesel Mechanics
- Full-time permanent and seasonal Tunnel Maintainers
- Civil Engineer Trainees
Commonwealth recruitment staff will be on-hand to discuss current winter maintenance openings in Allegheny County. Onsite application completion, on-the-spot interviews, and conditional job offers for select positions will occur. Driving skills testing will be available at the Monroeville Maintenance Shed, located an approximately ten-minute drive from the job fair. Applicants for CDL positions are asked to bring their license and current medical examiner's certificate. All other applicants are asked to bring an appropriate form of identification.
