Route 28 Single-lane Restrictions Begin Monday in O’Hara Township

​Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing single-lane and shoulder restrictions on northbound Route 28 in O’Hara Township, Allegheny County will begin Monday, October 7 weather permitting.

Northbound Route 28 between the Blawnox (Exit 9) and the RIDC Park (Exit 10) interchanges will have the following restrictions in place through late October:

  • A single-lane restriction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday

  • An around-the-clock shoulder closure

These restrictions will be in place to allow crews to conduct slope drainage work and may not occur each day.
