Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is
announcing bridge inspection activities on the Route 168 Shippingport Bridge
over the Ohio River in Industry and Shippingport boroughs, Beaver County, will
begin Monday, September 30 weather permitting.
A single-lane
restriction on the Shippingport Bridge will occur from 9 a.m. 3 p.m. Monday
through Friday, September 30-October 4. Flaggers will assist motorists through
the work zone.
Crews from the Mackin
Engineering Company and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the bridge
inspection work.
Motorists should be
prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through
the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
