Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is
announcing pipe installation work on Route 551 (Wallace Run Road) in various
municipalities in Beaver County will begin Monday, July 29 weather permitting.
Pipe replacement work
requiring the closure of a portion of Route 551 between Route 168 and McKinley
Road will begin at 8 a.m. Monday. The
roadway will close to traffic around-the-clock though mid-August as crews from
Lindy Paving conduct pipe replacement work, concrete endwall installation, and
roadway restoration. Traffic will be detoured

This work is part of a
$5.36 million group paving project that includes milling and paving, drainage
upgrades, shoulder repairs, guide rail updates, pavement markings, and other
various construction related activities.
