Route 65 Ramp Inspections Continue Wednesday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on Route 65 and associated ramps in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Wednesday through Saturday, July 24-27 weather permitting.

​Inspection activities requiring lane closures and traffic shifts, unless otherwise noted, will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day according to the following schedule: 

Wednesday, July 24

  • The ramp from southbound Route 65 to Beaver Avenue.  The ramp will close to traffic

  • The ramp from northbound Route 65 to Chateau Street.

Thursday, July 25

  • The ramp from northbound Route 65 to Chateau Street

  • The ramp from Chateau Street to northbound Route 19

Friday and Saturday, July 26-27

  • The ramp from southbound Route 19 to southbound Route 65

  • Mainline Route 65 at the Marshall Avenue interchange

Southbound Route 65 ramp to Beaver Avenue

  • From southbound Route 65, take the ramp to North 19 toward Marshall Avenue/Beaver Avenue

  • Bear left toward Route 19

  • At the traffic signal, turn left onto the ramp to South 19 toward Downtown

  • Bear right at the fork

  • End detour

Crews from Benesch will conduct the routine inspection activities.
