Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is
announcing the closure of a portion of Route 48 (Boston Hollow Road) in
Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, June 24 weather
permitting.
Crews will conduct
wall replacement work on a section of Route 48 beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, June
24. To allow the work to occur, the
roadway will close to traffic around-the-clock between Finney Road and West
Smithfield Street through late August. Additional work includes roadway and
shoulder reconstruction. Traffic will be detoured via West Smithfield Street
and Finney Road.
