Huff Road Railroad Crossing Closure in West Wheatfield Township, Indiana County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing a closure on Huff Road (Route 2009) in West Wheatfield Township, Indiana County as JMG Global perform railroad crossing work beginning November 7 at 6 AM through November 8, 2024, at 6:30 AM.

The detour for the Huff Road (Route 2009) railroad closure on the north side of the railroad tracks will be to travel north on Huff Road and turn west onto Power Plant Road (Route 2008), turn right onto Mulligan Hill Road (Route 2011) then left onto Route 259 south. Continue into Westmoreland County through Boliver and turn left onto Creek Road (Route 1006).  Turn left onto Route 711 and continue into New Florence.  Continue straight onto Ligonier Street (Route 1001) back into Indiana County on Huff Road (Route 2009).

 

The detour for the Huff Road (Route 2009) railroad closure on the South side of the railroad tracks will be to travel South on Huff Road (Route 2009).  Continue into Westmoreland County on Ligonier Street (Route 1001), then then continue straight onto Route 711.  Turn right onto Creek Road (Route 1006) and continue to Route 259.  Turn right on Route 259 and travel through Bolivar into Indiana County. Travel through Robinson and turn right onto Mulligan Hill Road (Route 2011).  Turn left onto Power Plant Road (Route 2008) then turn right Huff Road (Route 2009).
