Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Route 422 ramp to Route 268 (Ramp A) will be opened before the end of the day. The Route 268/Route 422 Business (Ramp B) will remain closed through October 4, 2024 as crews complete paving, patching, and rehabilitation of the bridge deck over Route 422. The closure has been extended due to delays caused by weather.
Contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker, State College, PA will be completing this $15.6 million resurfacing project that will conclude at the end of November 2024. The project includes the Route 268-West Kittanning interchange in Armstrong County, between Worthington Borough in Armstrong County and the intersection of Graham/Burke Road in Butler County and at a bridge spanning Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park in Butler County.
