​The eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 remain closed in Erie County from Exit 16 (Route 98, Fairview/Franklin Center) to Exit 18 (Route 832, Presque Isle/Sterrettania) following a crash involving a motorcycle.

Drivers should detour around the area by using Route 98, Route 20, and Interstate 79. 

A temporary lane restriction for westbound traffic is also in place while vehicles stopped in the eastbound lanes behind the crash scene are rerouted.

The highway is expected to reopen later today.
