Driver License Examiners

There are nearly 11 million licensed drivers in the state, and each one of them had to pass a driver's test. Today, those skills tests are administered by driver license examiners. People in these positions determine the physical and driving qualifications of applicants, and the mechanical conditions of vehicles for conformance to the established standards necessary for safe driving.

Some driver license examiner positions require a Class A Commercial Driver License. This presents an excellent opportunity for individuals that no longer wish to drive trucks or operate other equipment to use their valuable experience in another area.

Driver License Examiner Assistants

Do you have an enthusiastic approach to customer service? Are you looking for an entry-level job that can lead to a satisfying career? Driver license examiner assistants positions are located throughout the commonwealth. Individuals in these positions administer the testing processes of Pennsylvania's commercial or non-commercial licensing program. Work involves proctoring standardized driver knowledge tests, performing visual acuity screenings, verifying identity and related documents, and processing driver license applications and test results.
