PennDOT's Engineering District 9 is responsible for the state-maintained transportation network in this region. This includes 4,004 total road miles and 2,102 state bridges.

We also work with local governments, elected officials, stakeholders, and the public on keeping people and goods moving safely and efficiently in this region.

 Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) representatives, including PennDOT District 9 District Executive Vince Greenland, District 9 Assistant District Executive for Construction Brad Brumbaugh, and and District 9 Assistant District Executive for Maintenance Dave Kammerer today discussed statewide transportation progress and highlighted this year's active and completed construction projects in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, and Somerset counties.
