Single lane restrictions under daylight flagging

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a resurfacing project is set to begin next week on Route 74 (Delta Road) in Lower Chanceford Township, York County. The work limits extend from Snodgrass Road to Burns Road.

Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, July 10. There will be single lane restrictions during daylight hours with flaggers providing traffic control. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place. There will be no restrictions from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM daily, and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Fridays.

Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.

This project consists of paving, base repair, guide rail and drainage replacement, and other miscellaneous construction. Work will primarily be performed during daylight hours, though paving is expected to be performed this fall during the night.

Kinsley Construction, Inc., of York, PA, is the contractor on this $3,578,002 project. All work is expected to be completed by November 16, 2023.
