King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that work with periodic lane closures is scheduled on several state highways in Bucks County beginning Monday, March 6, through early May, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, as part of a project to install ADA curb ramps at over 140 intersections in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

The work locations are:

• Radcliff Street at the Dorrance Street Intersection in Bristol Borough;
• Radcliff Street between Jefferson Avenue and Lincoln Avenue in Bristol Borough;
• Radcliff Street at the Market Street Intersection, Bristol Borough;
• State Road at the Street Road Intersection in Bensalem Township;
• Brown Avenue at the Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) Intersection in Bensalem Township;
• Brown Avenue at the Par Avenue Intersection in Bensalem Township;
• Dunks Ferry Road at the Knights Road Intersection in Bensalem Township;
• Dunks Ferry Road at the Mechanicsville Road Intersection in Bensalem Township;
• Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) at the Route 513 (Bellevue Avenue) Intersection in Hulmeville Borough;
• Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) and the Durham Road Intersection in Penndel Borough;
• Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) and the Glen Avenue Intersection in Penndel Borough; and
• Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) between the Highland Park Way loops in Middletown Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Heim Construction Company, Inc. of Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County is the general contractor on the $5,217,601 project which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
