Route 1087 Ginger Hill Road Slide Repair Begins Monday in Washington County

​Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 1087 (Ginger Hill Road) is scheduled to close Monday, June 17, between Route 1016 (Little Mingo Road) and Route 136 (Main Street) in Nottingham Township, Washington County. 

The closure is anticipated through late August depending on weather and operations. Crews from Frank Gavlik & Sons will be conducting slide repair work – a $1.2M infrastructure investment. 

A 7-mile posted detour will be in place using: 

  • ​Route 136 (Main Street/Dry Run Road). 
  • Route 88.
