Virtual Plans Display Unveiled for Crawford Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation Project in Fayette County

12/06/2023

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 12-0, along with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites the community to participate in a Virtual Plans Display of the Crawford Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation Project in the City of Connellsville, Fayette County.

The rehabilitation of the Crawford Avenue Bridge, also known as the McCray Robb Bridge, will add a shared-use path to the structure, allowing for safe pedestrian and bicycle access. The bridge separates the east and west sides of Connellsville and is a critical component of the community. This project will extend the life of the structure, improve safety, and significantly benefit the needs of the city's citizens.

Information on the bridge project, including short overviews, is available online. The virtual plans display can be accessed on the PennDOT website for two weeks beginning the evening of Wednesday, December 6 to Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
