​Drivers should be alert for a changing traffic pattern for eastbound traffic on the Bayfront Parkway (Route 4034) in the City of Erie starting July 30, 2024.

Barrier will be placed between the two directions of traffic from State Street and Holland Street and from Holland Street to Ore Dock Road, after which the eastbound traffic will be shifted toward the center of the roadway.

The lane shift is needed to complete drainage work as part of the Bayfront Parkway Central Corridor Improvement Project. It is expected to remain in place for several months.

A traffic shift remains in place near the intersection of Bayfront Parkway and Sassafras Street Extension.
