Project Overview

This is a project to improve Route 427 in Jackson Township, Plum Township and Cooperstown Borough in Venango County and Troy Township in Crawford County.

The project includes 6 miles of roadway from the intersection with Factory Street in Cooperstown to the intersection with Route 27 in Troy Township.

The project will include milling, paving, and widening the existing roadway to include a two-foot shoulder. There will also be drainage updates, guiderail, and tree trimming.

Work is expected to occur in 2025 construction season.

Portions of the work will require single-lane closures with traffic controlled by flaggers.
