CADD Resources

PennDOT's CADD Resource Files site is provided by the CADD Support Unit in Montoursville. PennDOT currently uses Bentley OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition. If you load this workspace to your system, you can have the same work environment that PennDOT's CADD operators use. 

If you prefer to only use parts of the workspace, look for the most recent version under Workspaces ​​PennDOT CONNECT Edition Workspaces - OpenRoads Designer. Individual components of the workspace, such as symbology, fonts, cells, and seed files, are found under Organization-Civil\PennDOT Design\Standards.  All CADD Resource Files can be accessed on the CADD Files and Support page.  

Strike-off letters formerly available as part of our resource files are available on the ECMS site. As a Business Partner, you may obtain the complete list of SOLs under the References tab. If you are not a business partner, you may become one, free of charge, by going to Construction/Contractor Registration and clicking on the Register as a PennDOT Business Partner link.

AutoTAB Web is a web-based quantity tabulation application, developed by the CADD Support Unit at PennDOT, to create and edit PennDOT Project Tabulation and Summary Sheets. AutoTAB automatically summarizes the project's item number, quantities per-use-on tabulations, totals pricing per estimate of quantities, and unit costs for project item numbers. This gives a grand total cost estimate. AutoTAB now allows for Business Partners to collaborate on projects with PennDOT personnel in real time. The use of this application is recommended for all PennDOT projects.
