district 12 county mapPennDOT's Engineering District 12 is responsible for the state-maintained transportation network in this region. This includes 3,627 total road miles and 2,339 total bridges.

We also work with local governments, elected officials, stakeholders, and the public on keeping people and goods moving safely and efficiently in this region.

Today, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) partnered with the Highway Safety Network, AAA East Central, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA Traffic Injury Prevention Project (TIPP), State Farm, Pennsylvania State Police, Washington County Drug & Alcohol, and California High School SADD Students to promote teen driver safety at an expo held at California High School in Washington County.
